Tori Stanek is the Digital Access and Public Services Librarian at Columbia Gorge Community College in The Dalles, OR. She oversees course conversion between modalities and provides support services for library users. Tori also connects faculty with OER adaptation, adoption, and creation opportunities as part of the instructional design process. Her MLIS is in Library and Information Science, and she is pursuing her EdD in antiracist pedagogy.
Tori’s capstone included the adaptation and development of OER for the First Year Experience (FYE) course at CGCC. The resource portfolio she created includes student-generated OER, as well as suggestions for instructors who are interested in including open pedagogy.
