Leadership Portfolio
Michael’s capstone, Learning OER Anytime (LOERA), focused on developing a series of self-paced, interactive, on-demand, mobile-friendly, elearning modules. LOERA contains learning modules that can be used to provide a flexible, yet structured learning path to understanding Open Education Resources (OER). The course serves to support faculty in developing their knowledge and awareness about OER. By creating the course Michael also hopes to expand the awareness of OER throughout the Alabama Community College System in order to an increase the rate of OER adoption across the state.
