Catherine Fraser Riehle is an Associate Professor and librarian within the Teaching Partnerships unit at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) Libraries. She collaborates with folks in the Libraries and in units across campus on work and initiatives related to teaching, learning, information literacy, and OER and affordable content, and has served as a member of UNL’s Successful Teaching with Affordable Resources (STAR) team since its inception in 2018. Catherine earned a MS in Information Studies at the University of Texas-Austin in 2006 and worked as a librarian at Purdue University for ten years before joining the UNL Libraries. Her professional and research interests focus on the intersection of scholarly communication and information literacy.

Catherine’s capstone project involved development of a phased approach in support of work at the UNL Libraries related to “open” and “affordable,” including 1) components of a strategic action plan and 2) a content analysis of selected OER LibGuides.
