Ariela McCaffrey is the Assistant Director of Research Support, Instruction and Outreach at Connecticut College. She leads the open education initiatives on campus by delivering OER and open pedagogy workshops to faculty and staff. Ariela developed the OER grant program at Connecticut College and is currently working with faculty on the creation and adoption of OER for their courses.
Ariela’s capstone project is a book chapter to be included in Intersections of OER and Information Literacy, a book on information literacy and OER for ACRL’s Publishing in Librarianship (PIL) series. The manuscript is undergoing public peer review and final publication is scheduled for fall 2020.
