Nicola Andrews (she/they) is a member of the Ngāti Pāoa iwi, and is of Māori and Pākehā descent. They currently work as the Instruction/First-Year Experience Librarian at the University of San Francisco, on Ramaytush Ohlone territory. They are interested in participating in the SPARC OEL Program as a means of strategically exploring student success initiatives on campus. They are also interested in the tension between open access initiatives, and Indigenous data sovereignty movements. Their credentials include a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Washington, and a Master of Indigenous Studies from the University of Otago.
