Mira Waller is the Associate University Librarian for Research and Learning Services and the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the University of Virginia Library. She provides oversight for the subject liaison and faculty programs, research data services, the teaching and learning program, information services and spaces, the Robertson Media Center, and the Digital Humanities Center.
Mira has over twenty years of combined experience in academic libraries, archives, digital scholarship, and online publishing, with a focus on open, equitable, and sustainable knowledge ecosystems. Previously, Mira was the Department Head of Research Engagement and the Associate Head of Collections & Research Strategy in the North Carolina State University (NSCU) Libraries. Before joining the NCSU Libraries, Mira was Director of Publishing Services for Project Euclid, an online community and platform for mathematics and statistics scholarship, and held multiple positions of increasing responsibility at the Duke University Medical Center Archives.
