Join us on August 28th from 2-3pm ET/11-12pm PT for Open Education 101: Open Education in Practice.
This session will introduce key aspects of putting open education into practice. Topics will include how to find, create, and adapt open educational resources (OER), the foundations of open pedagogy, and how various colleges and universities are supporting open education through campus programs. Participants will leave with practical examples and starting points to apply in their own teaching, library work, or institutional setting.
These sessions are open to anyone working in libraries, teaching, instructional design, or those simply curious about exploring this transformative topic. SPARC membership is NOT required, and our goal in this series is to support the wider community, particularly those at institutions with fewer resources to support open education work.
All sessions will be recorded and posted for those unable to attend live.
