Lisa Anderson is a reference librarian at Muskegon Community College. She is the OER coordinator there, assisting faculty with any open education questions and projects and serving as lead on the OER cohort. Additionally, she is the College archivist; liaison to social sciences, foreign languages, education, English/communications, and College Success; and co-advisor to the College’s Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
Lisa’s capstone will focus on including community college students in open education through awareness and action. The project seeks to create dynamic presentations and activities to help get community college students involved in OER use on their campuses, beginning with a major presentation at Phi Theta Kappa’s annual convention, Catalyst, in April 2020.
