Persistent identifiers (PIDs) are key research infrastructure that aid discovery, transparency, and reproducibility. They make information more FAIR, while also supporting research output reporting, research assessment, and linking components throughout the research lifecycle.
The USRN is bringing together a panel to discuss how they use persistent identifiers within their repositories.
Panelists will share what PIDs they use, how PIDs are integrated into their systems, and what plans they have for the future. This conversation aims to share existing PID use cases and provide ideas for how others might consider using PIDs in their repositories.
