Persistent identifiers are foundational research infrastructure that enable reliable linking, tracking, and reuse of research across various systems. There are many different approaches that organizations, governments, and institutions are using to effect large-scale adoption of PIDs - from grassroots efforts to government policies, to community strategies, to country-wide infrastructure.
This webcast will speak to different approaches that have enabled PID adoption in different regions around the world and best practice we can apply in our own PID work. This event is open to those working at academic institutions and will be recorded. We encourage participants to submit questions in advance via the registration form.
