Dr. Rachel J. Harding

HDSA Fellow, Structural Genomics Consortium, University of Toronto

Dr Rachel Harding is a Berman/Topper Family Huntington’s Disease Society of America Fellow, supervised by Prof. Cheryl Arrowsmith at the Structural Genomics Consortium (SGC), University of Toronto. Harding’s research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms of Huntington’s disease, an incurable and devastating neurodegenerative disorder. Dr. Harding is a leader in open notebook science, releasing all of her work through her open notebook, LabScribbles, and sharing reagents she generates in the lab with the wider Huntington’s research community without restriction. Harding also contributes to the many innovative scholarly communication endeavours at the SGC such as their global open notebook platform, open access publishing policy and prepublication data package release programmes.
